Rye Pottery

Rye Pottery is world-renowned for its collector ranges, each piece hand-painted and initialled by the decorator, from American historical figures to rustic farm animals and pastoral groups. Best known and eagerly collected are The Canterbury Tales figures based on Chaucer's wise and witty stories. Rye's pilgrims painted with Rye's unique decorative skills have the feel of a medieval manuscript. The Gallery currently carries a small range of Rye Pottery, but can obtain pieces to order and do sell the pottery in our online shop.
